Hola! I’m Carlos Salinas, founder of Islandclimber and an AMGA Certified Single Pitch Instructor (SPI). We’re a Puerto Rico-based climbing company passionate about the outdoors and about sharing the island through unforgettable rock-climbing experiences.

From beautiful limestone walls and tropical forests to unique local crags, our goal is to help you experience rock climbing in Puerto Rico while discovering the island’s natural beauty, culture, and adventure. Whether you’re climbing for the first time or looking to improve your skills, we tailor each experience to your goals, abilities, and experience level.

I’ve been working as a climbing instructor and guide for over seven years, combining hands-on experience with professional training through the American Mountain Guides Association (AMGA). Safety, quality instruction, and creating a great experience for every guest are at the heart of what we do.
